Anonymous asked: i think based on what i know on drugs that it was not acid. i really believe it was pcp that caused this man to act the way he did and eat another mans face.

You may have a point. It seems suspicious about how little they’re saying on the drug, and I personally have never heard of anyone behaving violently on acid. They did mention it being a ‘kind’ of acid referred to as Bath Salts. I don’t know what differentiates this from regular old acid, so if anyone else has information I’m willing to listen! Thanks for the feedback!

Zombie in Miami?

So I ran across this photo on Facebook
and read how everyone was saying, “Oh it’s real, it’s real!” and I saw it was from 9Gag and though of course it can’t be real. But with further reading of the comments I discover people trying to prove that yes, this is real, by posting links to various sources. (Which you can see http://img.ibtimes.com/www/articles/20120529/346346_zombie-attack-miami-man-eating-face-photos.htm and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLy1bk0Ps7E&feature=related ) I was a bit skeptical about all this- the links provided made it look like a real zombie attack (which would be cool yet alarming) which I wasn’t fully buying because, hey, there is a scientific explanation for almost everything; so I decided to do some independent research.
What I came up with is:

But what I don’t understand (Keep in mind I’m not an expert.):

  1. The sources don’t mention how the drug reacts with the body, the chemical makeup of it and why it causes this sort of behavior. They really don’t give a good description of the drug either, not how it’s ingested, nor what it looks like. They say the street name for it is Bath Salts and compare it to LSD, but avoid mentioning the actual name of it.
  2. That drugs give you superhuman powers now. Come on now, he gained strength, aggression, and pain tolerance. What kind of drug is this? I mean, sure, people do stupid and dangerous stuff under the influence, but how many of you can honestly say you’ve been shot and not felt it, and were so strong (stronger than you normally would be) it took 6 people to forcibly move you? As far as I know, drugs don’t do that. To some degree, sure, but this far?
  3. He was eating this guy’s face. Normally when there is a fight, a few punches get thrown. But eating someone’s face?
  4. The complete lack of coverage on the victim. Seriously what happened?

In any case:

Reports say the attacker was finally shot dead after many tries. Logic tells us the cops may have misfired, and shot somewhere non-lethal (such as the leg instead of vital organs), but if not we’re dealing with walkers.

They mention that,  If you are selling this LSD to people, unsuspecting people, on the street and somebody ends up dying as a result, you will be charged.”
and also people under the influence of this drug are very dangerous and I encourage you to run the other way and contact authorities.

Do not take this drug.

As far as this guy being a zombie goes, it is very unlikely. However, as I cannot find information on this drug, can always blow things out of proportions and say that maybe this drug will start WWZ, and it’s time to get your guns ready. We can dream, right?

If you have any comments, corrections, input, feedback, reply to this post and also my submit and ask boxes are open. Don’t be shy.

I do not believe the world will end.

Or at least, I do not want to believe the world will end.
I would kind of like to see how my life plays out, and those around me.
Armaggeddon ripping this life away from me and everyone else; it hardly seems fair.
Even if we do not go out in a fiery explosion simultaneously,
I’ll still wonder how things might have been if the world didn’t go to hell.
It doesn’t matter what I want, though.
Things happen for a reason.

Did NASA capture a UFO circling the sun on April 24?
The photographic “proof” was snapped by NASA’s SOHO, the Solar & Heliospheric Observatory. The satellite launched in 1995 studies the Sun.
Scientists say the cameras have only caught a glimpse of cosmic waste, not the Hollywood ship it may appear. This was confirmed by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory.
Nathan Rich, the lead ground systems engineer in the NRL’s solar branch, says the streaks in question are consistent with energetic particles apparent in just about every image.
Still, the object really is shaped like a spaceship.
